	London Convention and Concert

I got hooked on Xena: Warrior Princess in January ‘99, just after switching to cable TV and thus being able to see the show (which is not generally available here in the UK) for the first time. After much surfing of the Web I became fascinated with the various forms of artwork based on the series.

Being a seriously non-creative person I spent most of my time collecting other peoples pictures, montages and wallpapers. After assembling a collection of several hundred wallpapers (especially Sherrie Butlers marvellous creations) I felt inspired to have a go myself.

The result is this site which was created to show off my personal Xena wallpaper designs. The originals were mostly created at 1200 x 900 (my desktop is 1920 x 1200 on a 24” TFT monitor) and scaled down to 1024 x 768. They use a low level of compression to preserve quality and are typically 120k - 350k in size.

I do screen captures from the series, these are of a high standard and can be found on the Screencaps Page, almost all Season 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 episodes are featured. There are also many caps from other TV series such as Hercules, Young Hercules, Spartacus, Farscape, Buffy, Angel, Lost, Legend of the Seeker, Dark Angel, Stargate SG-1, Charmed, Enterprise, Andromeda, Voyager, Earth:Final Conflict, Witchblade, Battlestar Galactica, Atlantis, Smallville & Firefly and many films. Something for everyone :)

Note that there are a number of high quality personal scans available, go to Mikes Page to find the Galleries. There are also links to a large number of other sites that I’ve found to be of excellent quality and are highly recommended on this page. I add one new high quality scan every week to Mikes Page which are not in the Galleries. In addition there are a number of Galleries of wallpapers by artists that don’t have their own web sites HERE

A number of these wallpapers have been posted to the alt.binaries.multimedia.xena-herc newsgroup (part of Usenet) from July 1999 to May 2011. I’ve added an ABMX-H Page with typical examples from the regular contributors, check it out!

	European Convention




	A Xena convention in Europe it's the dream of lots of European Fans and Fans are precisely the most qualified to organise such a project. The Fans will be able to meet other Fans' expectations to make an unforgettable event. Xena-Immortal commits itself to offer an event worthy of being called an unforgettable event if the Fans show us that there are enough fans who want a convention in France. We don't want the Xena conventions to stop and we are ready to take up the torch if we have to, but to do so we need the support of Fans from all over the world to make this project come true. I hope you will help us to make this project possible. All of the Xenites have to be mobilised, a Xena convention can't be held without Fans. And it's only together that we can get things going, make them come true. We will be very grateful to all fans if you could help us.
